Bibliomaniac Scarlet

I came here to keep in touch with all my friends who left GR after the censorship debacle. I read a little of every genre. I co-blog at Musings of a Bibliomaniac.

The Witches - Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake There’s nothing life-altering or profound about The Witches. It’s just a silly, funny story about a young boy and his bad-ass grandmamma, who have a run-in with some bald, toeless, kid-hating witches, and who end up saving all the children of England. But it’s one of those stories that simply make you happy, that make you laugh till your insides hurt, that make you feel like a child again.I adore it, I love it, and I’ll probably read this again when I need to cheer myself up :)
